Ball Bullet Lewandowski makes it 100 Bayern goals as Dortmund
Lewandowski makes it 100 Bayern goals as Dortmund and Leipzig slip up – The Matchday 24 round-up! Robert Lewandowski brought up a century of goals as Bayern Munich eased past Eintracht Frankfurt, but it was a tougher weekend for Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, both of whom tasted defeat.

Bayern Munich 3-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Robert Lewandowski brought up a century of goals for Bayern after netting a brace in the champions' comfortable 3-0 win against Frankfurt. Carlo Ancelotti's side were made to work hard early on - and were indebted to Mats Hummels for a phenomenal, last-ditch tackle on Branimir Hrgota to keep it goalless - but goals from Lewandowski and Douglas Costa before the interval put the Bavarians in control. The Pole doubled his tally in the 55th minute, completing a perfect day for Bayern, who moved 10 points clear at the top.

Hertha Berlin 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

BVB's domestic inconsistency this season continued against Hertha Berlin, who outsmarted Dortmund at the Olympiastadion. Salomon Kalou put the Berliners ahead early, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised shortly after the interval to stay atop the Bundesliga scoring charts with 22. Marvin Plattenhardt then hit a stunning free-kick in the closing stages, ending a run of four competitive games unbeaten for Thomas Tuchel's side and catapulting Hertha back into the top-four reckoning.

RB Leipzig 0-1 Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg's gain was Leipzig's pain as RBL lost ground on Bayern. Mario Gomez's early goal - his second in as many games since Andries Jonker took over - was enough for the Wolves to triumph and start moving away from the drop zone. A second home defeat in three games, however, continues an up-and-down Rückrunde for Ralph Hasenhüttl's side.

Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 Werder Bremen

Claudio Pizarro became the Bundesliga’s oldest scorer this season at the age of 38 years, five months and eight days in snatching a 1-1 draw for Werder Bremen at Bayer Leverkusen. New coach Tayfun Korkut had looked destined for a winning debut after Kevin Volland’s opener, but a late penalty from Pizarro sealed a share of the spoils for the Green Whites, and a place in the record books for the ever-green Peruvian.

Ingolstadt 2-2 Cologne

Anthony Modeste continued his remarkable goalscoring run against Ingolstadt - he is the only Cologne player ever to score against Die Schanzer in the Bundesliga - but the Billy Goats twice threw away the lead to draw at the Audi Sportpark. Modeste's early penalty was cancelled out by a superb goal from Dario Lezcano; the Frenchman then beat Martin Hansen again, but Timo Horn's failure to hold Romain Bregerie's shot with 20 minutes remaining gave the hosts a share of the spoils.

Freiburg 1-1 Hoffenheim

Andrej Kramaric scored a sublime goal as Hoffenheim came from behind to take a draw against southwestern rivals Freiburg, in the process keeping their UEFA Champions League hopes alive and kicking. Christian Streich's side went ahead thanks to Maximilian Philipp's eight goal of the season, but Kramaric netted a stunner from the edge of the box on the hour to level for Julian Nagelsmann's side, who remain fourth, two points clear of Hertha Berlin.

Darmstadt 2-1 Mainz

Darmstadt wore a special shirt in honour of Johnny Heimes, the Lilies fan who captured the hearts and minds of those across Germany and beyond before losing his long battle with cancer in March. Aytac Sulu – last season’s top-scoring defender in Europe – headed Darmstadt into the lead before a Sidney Sam penalty made it two. Robin Quaison then scored a debut goal at the other end but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide as the hosts held on for their fourth win, and second under Torsten Frings.
